About Dance

The 19th edition of the International DANCE Festival Munich, which took place from 22 May to 1 June 2025, was directed by Tobias Staab for the first time. Continuing the festival's successful tradition, he placed a programmatic focus on the intertwining of contemporary dance with visual arts and subcultural dance styles from different communities. As part of this edition, new venues were opened in Munich and a new festival centre was established as a central meeting place and exchange platform for a wide range of audiences.

The next edition of the International DANCE Festival Munich will take place from 3 to 13 June 2027.
