Mateusz Szymanówka is a dramaturg and curator currently working at Sophiensæle in Berlin, where he is responsible for the dance program and the curation of Tanztage Berlin. He also co-curated program focuses and thematic festivals such as Queer Darlings 3 (2022), Queer Darlings 4 (2023), Leisure & Pleasure (2023), and Making Life in the Ruins (2025). He has previously worked with and for institutions and initiatives including Nowy Teatr, Teatr Studio, and Pomada Queer Festival in Warsaw, Art Stations Foundation in Poznań, HAU Hebbel am Ufer, and donaufestival in Krems.
