DANCE is the international dance biennial of the city of Munich. Since 1987, DANCE has presented a diverse program ranging from newcomers and internationally emerging artists to world-renowned choreographers and companies as well as an extensive supporting and discourse program in 18 editions in various Munich venues, theaters, museums and public spaces.

For the 19th edition, which will take place from May 22 to June 1, 2025, DANCE will be directed by Tobias Staab for the first time. Continuing the successful line of the festival, he will focus on the interweaving of contemporary dance with visual arts, but also with subcultural dance styles from different communities. For the upcoming festival edition, new venues will be opened up in Munich and a new festival center will be established as a meeting point and exchange platform for a wide-ranging audience. 

The detailed program of DANCE 2025 will be published on 18 February 2025. Advance ticket sales and the launch of the new website will also start on the same day.
